Garlic & Wine Pork Chops

Sam and I try to be creative with our dinner recipes. When I spotted this recipe from Pioneer Woman I knew it would be awesome. We keep these ingredients in our house on regular basis. Garlic and Red Wine are a must in any household.

Highlands Bachelorette Weekend

A group of girls traveled to Highlands, NC this past weekend for our friend Amanda's Bachelorette Party. When we all arrived Friday evening, we snacked, painted wine glasses and watched movies. No one lasted long because we had all had a long day of working and traveling. On Saturday we headed to Old Edwards Inn Spa in downtown Highlands. OH.MY.GOSH...one of the best spa's I have been to hands down! When we arrived they gave us a tour, showed us our locker, and told us to put on our robes and slippers and relax. And relax is just what we did...and gossip too of course. My massage definitely didn't last long enough. The rest of the afternoon we sipped on champagne, wine, read books and enjoyed the mineral spa. Saturday evening we all played Bachelorette games that were hilarious and enjoyed dinner at Cypress. The weekend was so relaxing and so fun. I can't wait for Sam and I to spend a weekend in Highlands at Old Edwards Inn and Spa.

Hope Amanda had as much fun as we did! Her and her fiance's love for each other is truely endearing. Can't wait for her wedding in a few short months!!
